We didn’t do much today, so I’m recycling a shot from two days ago. This in the Chefs de France restaurant in EPCOT. I assume this illustration shows how the gentlemen of France relieve themselves. Since, I had no hat, I used the urinal instead. Stupid American!

This weekend was the 2nd of four dedicated as Star Wars Weekends at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Being the old-school Star Wars geek I am, this was eight up my alley. Probably no image better encapsulated the spirit of the weekend than that of R2-MK, the little Mickey-eared astromech droid pictured here.

I forgot to post this last night, but here’s glimpse of the fantastic restaurant on EPCOT where we had a big, filling dinner.

We had a gorgeous sunset in the Magic Kingdom. Here’s a hint of it.

If there’s one thing we learned from LOST (and there are hundreds), it’s that the key to a good con is in the details. Thanks, Sawyer. If anyone knows how to pull off a good con, it’s Disney World. And I don’t mean the fact that you exit every attraction through a gift shop. I’m talking about the elaborate theming of every land, area and attraction. This is a wall on the Maharaja Jungle Trek in Animal Kingdom. No one was really looking at it, which to me us even more proof of it’s effectiveness… And there were far smaller details present than this. A good con indeed.

If you turn your head upside down in just the right spot, you’ll recognize this as EPCOT’s Spaceship Earth.

Today we stopped by the Andersonville Civil War prison camp site & POW museum… On our way to Disney World. Yeah, we’re ironic like that.
